Ingredients Needed for Plum Orange Posicles
- Plums: Fresh plum juice or store-bought plum juice
- Oranges: Freshly squeezed or store-bought orange juice.
How to make Plum Orange Posicles?
If using fresh oranges and plums squeeze the juice from oranges and pulse the peaches with 1 cup water to make a puree. Strain the plum and separate the juice. If you like chunkier pieces then do not strain the plums.
Pour plum juice in ice cream molds up to half-filled.Let it set in the freezer for 1 hour without a lid.
Add orange juice over the plum Popsicle. close the lids of molds. Set it in the freezer for up to 6-8 hours. Remove from molds and serve chilled.
Serving and storage
Serve the popsicles straight after they are set. If you find it difficult to remove them from the molds, run the mold under running water to loosen the popsicles.
Store the popsicles into the molds and they can stay fresh for upto a month. Use as desired.
Pro Tips
- You can use freshly squeezed orange juice or store-bought as well.
- Plum puree will add some texture to the popsicles, if you would like you can use plum juice instead or strain the plum puree and use that.
- Sometimes pops are difficult to remove from the molds, if this happens run them under running tap water and they will come out easily.
- You can add chopped mint leaves for extra flavors or maybe some sugar if your fruits aren’t sweeter.
