Capsicum Palya

For the second day of BM#42 under Low Carb Meals I made quick and easy stir fry capsicum in South Indian style from here. It can be served with roti and rice or as it is also. It is very delicious and healthy sir fry. When I was reading about low carb diets I found this link where a south indian lady was advised by doctor to avoid carbohydrates in her diet . She then moved on her diet onto Koshimbir , Palya , Huli , Saaru and Gugri etc.She was putting more vegetables and pulses in her curries and eats larger amounts of curries. She said she was not eating much curries when she was eating rice because rice would eat up most of her appetite. She is now eating vegetables , legumes , curries and lots of yoghurt and lost 14 kg in one year. Read more about her in this article A South Indian Vegetarian goes on a low carb diet.
