Finally, I am winding up my Nutella recipes with these crisp and melt in the mouth kind Nutella Rugelach cookies.Everyone at home loved it especially my husband .Most of them are finished by him. He is now asking every now and then about when I will be making them again.

Although the process of making these cookies was lengthy, but still I enjoyed making and eating them.So let’s start the recipe.yum

Ingredients:
1 cup all purpose flour
1/2 cup unsalted butter@cold & cut in cubes
1 teaspoon kosher salt
4 ounce or 1/2 cup cream cheese

For filling:
1/4 cup nutella @room temperature

For glaze:
1 tablespoon butter,melted
2 tablespoon granulated sugar

Method:
In a food processor bowl add all purpose flour and kosher salt. Pulse for few minutes in until flour and salt are combined.
Add in the cubes of unsalted butter and cream cheese.Pulse again for few seconds about 10 times until a loose dough like consistency forms.
Take out the dough from food processor and transfer on a counter.Using some flour gently form a loose ball of dough.Divide the dough into two halves.
Roll each half into a small disk and wrap it in cling film . Let the dough discs rest in refrigerator for 2 to 24 hours.
When the dough has chilled ,take out one disc from refrigerator and let it stand for 5-7 minutes.Preheat oven to 375 degree F.Line two baking trays with parchment paper .
Lightly flour the working counter and roll out the disc into a 12 inch circle. With the help of spatula apply a layer of nutella.
Using a pizza cutter ,slice the dough into 16 wedges.Starting from the base of triangle roll the dough to make it like crescent shape and arrange them on the baking tray..Let the crescents rest in refrigerator while working on the second disc of dough.Repeat the same steps fro second batch of dough.
Brush melted butter over the cookies and sprinkle granulated sugar.
Bake the cookies in preheated oven for about 25-20 minutes rotating from top to bottom in the middle of baking until puffed and golden.
Cool on wire rack and serve warm with coffee.

Enjoy!!
