Baked Vegetable Potlis

For the second day of cooking One bite snacks I made baked vegetable potlis .For filling I chose all the vegetables available in my kitchen .I made both baked and fried version and my family loved the baked potlis most.So let’s start the recipe.yum



Ingredients:

1/2 cup corn kernels,boiled
1/4 cup green beans,chopped
1/4 cup caulifloer florets,chopped
1/4 cup carrots,chopped
1/4 cup peas
1 potato,boiled & mashed
1 onion,chopped
2 green chilli,chopped
salt to taste
chaat masala to taste
1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
1/4 teaspoon coriander powder
1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
1 tablespoon oil

For dough:
1 cup maida/all purpose flour
1 teaspoon oil
water as required

Method:
In a bowl , add maida and oil.Mix and knead a firm dough .Set it aside.
Heat oil in a pan , add onions .Saute for 2 minutes .Now add all the chopped vegetables and mix well.
Now add salt , turmeric , coriander and chilli powder.Stir and cook for 7-8 minutes or till vegetables are done.
Sprinkle chaat masala ,mash it with potato masher and let the stuffing cool .
Make round chapatis from the dough , using a round cookie cutter ,cut small discs.
Fill a tablespoon of stuffing in the center and make small potlis.
Preheat oven to 180 degrees celcius and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
Brush the potlis with oil and bake for 35-40 minutes or till golden in color.
Remove from oven and serve warm with chutney or ketchup.

Serve-6 Cooking time-60 minutes
