Veg Club Sandwich

A club sandwich, also called a clubhouse sandwich, is a sandwich of toasted bread, sliced poultry, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise. Modern versions frequently have two layers which are separated by an additional slice of bread.

I made the veg version of club sandwich and it was a super hit in our house. So let’s start the recipe.yum

Ingredients
1/2 cup gram flour/besan
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoon onion,chopped
2 tablespoon tomato,chopped
1 green Chilli,chopped
2 teaspoon oil

6 sandwich bread
1 onions,cut in rounds
1 tomato ,cut in rounds
1 cucumber,cut in rounds
Few Lettuce leaves
Cheese spread as required
Butter as required
Tomato ketchup as required
Salt to taste
Peppercorn powder to taste

Method:
In a bowl mix all the ingredients for chila .Heat a nonstick Tawa and pour 2 tablespoon of batter .
Apply a teaspoon of oil and Cook from one side and then flip to cook from the other side.Make 2 more chilas by same procedure.

For sandwich
Slightly toast the bread slices .Apply cheese spread and layers of vegetables. Apply little ketchup on all the toasted bread slices and keep aside.
Place a toasted bread slice on a flat dry surface, put one chila on it. Sprinkle some salt and pepper.Cover with another toasted bread slice .
Place a lettuce leaf, slices cucumber ,slices of tomatoes ,onion rounds on it and cover with the third toasted bread slice.
Repeat with the remaining ingredients to make 1 more sandwich.

Cut each sandwich into 2 portions and serve immediately.

Serve-3. Prep time-15 minutes
