Spaghetti in Parsley Pesto

Jump to Recipe    ||   Print Recipe

A few weeks before I made a big batch of sunflower seeds and parsley pesto and we just loved it. The nuttiness from sunflower seeds and the fresh flavors of curly leaves parsley made this pesto sauce a huge hit.

Since that day, I have been making parsley pesto on regular basis and as my girls love spaghetti they just never complain. The main reason to make this pesto is to encourage them to eat sunflower seeds which they won’t eat in any other form.

I got these boxes of seed necessities ( a local seeds based company) products and frankly, I am just overloaded with all the healthy seeds they sent me. That’s why I keep trying to incorporate the seeds in our diest in any way possible.

And what could be better than a fresh and delicious pesto sauce? Do check my Parsley pesto sauce post to know the recipe and go ahead give it a try. Happy cooking!!

That is one flavorful bowl of pasta. I like the messy shots, pesto dripping off the bottle and also pesto sticking to the edges of the pasta bowl.

  2. Wow, that parsley pesto looks so vibrant and delicious. Using sunflower seeds is such a great idea — good alternate for people who are allergic to nuts.
