Day 8 Navratri Thali and Barnyard Millet Dosa Recipe which is an easy and tasty dosa made with barnyard millet is a healthy and filling gluten-free dish to serve in Navratri fasting days.

A super easy and tasty dosa made with barnyard millet is a healthy and filling gluten-free dish to serve in Navratri fasting days.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups barnyard millet flour
  • 1/4 cup yougurt
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • rock salt to taste
  • water as required
  • 1 tablespoon ghee

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl add barnyard millet flour, yogurt, and cumin seeds. Stir and add 2 cups of water.
  • Let the batter rest for about 30 minutes.
  • Once rested enough add a cup of more water and salt. Whisk to combine.
  • Heat an iron griddle and brush some ghee on top of it.
  • Pour a ladleful of batter and spread into a big circle with back of the spoon.
  • Cook from the other side fo a minute, remove from griddle and serve warm.

Notes

Try to add a little sour yogurt to make the dosa.
