Mint Chutney

Mint Chutney,Chutneys are not only important for starter or snacks but are an important part of main course.Chutneys usually contains mixture of spices and vegetables.In older times chutney were grounded with pestle and mortar but nowadays we use blender to save time and efforts.

Mint chutney is very easy to make and helps in digestion of food too.Freshly prepared chutney with mint leaves gives a very refreshing aroma and flavor.

2 bunches Mint leaves
1 bunch coriander leaves with stem
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1/2 cup yogurt
8 green chillies
4-5 garlic cloves
2 tablespoon dried pomegranate seeds/anardana
salt to taste

In a blender first put dried pomegranate seeds and yogurt ,blend till anardana seeds are done.Now add all ingredients and blend to make a smooth paste.

Serve chilled with snacks or full meal.

Serve-1 cup Prep time-15 minutes
