Day 5 Navratri Thali has Falaari kuttu ki Kadhi recipe along with sago thalipeeth, samak khichdi, rose sandesh, mint chutney, and pineapple juice.

The falaari kadhi taste amazing when paired with Samak ki khichdi and will keep you satisfied for long hours. This can be made with any of the other falaari flours like rajgira, samak, or chestnut flour.

Falaari Kadhi
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup buckwheat flour
- 2 cups sour buttermilk
- 1 cup water
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 green chilli, chopped
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 2 dried red chillies
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- rock salt to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon garam masala
- 2 tablespoon ghee
- few coriander leaves, chopped
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl add buckwheat flour, buttermilk, and salt. Whisk to combine a smooth batter.
- Heat ghee in a pan and add cumin seeds, dried red chillies, and ginger. Saute for a minute.
- Stir in buckwheat batter, water, coriander powder, green chilies and cook on simmer for about 10 minutes.
- After 10 minutes cook it on medium heat and keep an eye as the kadhi might rise from pan.
- Turn off the heat, add garam masala, coriander leaves and serve warm with samak ki khichdi.
