Badam Kesar Milk– A healthy and super delicious milk-based drink made with added almonds, saffron and cardamom flavors. This is a soothing hot milk best to be served on cold winter days.
If you saw my Navratri thali you’d remember I posted badam milk in it. I know that’s not much of a recipe but for the sake of completing all the dishes in the thali, I wanted to post the recipe anyway.
We love drinking warm Badam Kesar Milk in the super cold nights, to be frank, I feel it is always cold here ;)But anyhow, this milk sure makes us feel warm and cozy in those nights.
Recently I painted four backdrops and I was waited eagerly to use them in my photos. This is one of the new backgrounds that I made. Do tell me if you guys like it or not?
When it comes to painting backgrounds, I have no idea what to do so I just basically use a kitchen sponge and some paints and do whatever I feel like. How do you guys make your backgrounds? Do you buy them or DIY?
Nowadays there are plenty of Instagram profiles who sells food photo backgrounds worldwide. Sometimes I too get tempted to buy but always drop the idea thinking it would be too much trouble.
Anyways enough of the background talk, if you are in that part of the world where it is still cold pamper yourself with a tall glass of almond saffron milk and enjoy.
Here are more milk based hot drinks:

I paint my boards but I also buy other material to use as backgrounds. I don’t buy boards. Just like you, I have no idea what I do and paint/dab which ever colors I feel like. Some are a hit and most a miss. 😛 But the beauty is, we can always repaint. I also paint soiled charts and those are light and easy to transport.
This board will be great for moody shots and waiting to see the other 3 boards you painted.
I love the new backdrop, it’s uplifting the pics..and that Milk , looks so rich and heavenly!
I love kesar badam milk, like you said just so apt for a cold night! The board looks lovely… I feel boards are pretty expensive when purchased, it is quite cheaper if we can do on our own, but I am quite handicapped art wise… hehe…
Can have this anytime.. So inviting… Yummy drink
Those glasses surely make the drink stand out!..very nice..
That’s a nice backdrop, I have not even started using backdrops, but learning and hopefully soon. Saffron milk looks yummy and is very healthy.
wow I love how you color coordinated the purple glass and the yellow luscious drink 🙂 I love painting my boards too, it is so much fun isn’t it.. Badam milk looks so creamy and yummy ..
That is such a comforting glass of milk with almonds and saffron. Lovely clicks.
Your new background looks great Sapana. My daughter has been bugging me to paint new backgrounds — she wants to apparently help me with that. Can’t wait for the weather to get a little warmer to make some new boards.
Very beautiful color coordination, Sapana. I agree that the kesar badam milk is the best on cold wintry nights.
Love the colour Sapana. Even I need to do some painting as I am getting to bored of my granite slab background. The saffron milk looks amazing and absolutely yum..
Omg, this badam kesar milk is calling me and i can drink those both glasses without any guilt rite now.
Wow Badam milk looks so good.
