Vegan Apple Cake

It’s been two weeks since I posted any recipe on my blog. Life is getting too busy and I hardly find time to sit in front of the laptop and post recipe. However, I have many recipes in drafts ,but still it is kind of difficult to post.

So finally, after a long time this weekend I got some free time to relax and do something and guess what would I might be doing . Of course publishing one of my drafts recipe .

This apple cake I made from here is one of the best wholewheat cakes I made ever. The flavorful smell of cinnamon and amazing texture made it super delicious . So let’s start the recipe.yum

Ingredients:
1 red apple, peeled, cored and chopped
2 cup whole wheat flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon powder
3/4 cup brown sugar
a pinch of salt

wet ingredients:
1/4 cup sunflower oil
1 cup water
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon lemon juice

Method:

Preheat oven at 180* degrees and line a 8″ loaf tin with butter or parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl sift together flours, baking powder ,soda , salt and cinnamon powder.Stir well and add chopped apple followed by sugar.
Finally add the wet ingredients one by one.Fold in all the ingredients gently and pour in baking tin.
Tap on the counter to avoid air bubbles and bake in preheated oven for about 40-50 minutes.

Cool on wire rack.Cut in slices and serve with coffee or tea.

Enjoy!!

Serve-6. Baking time-50 minutes
