Til Ke Ladoo /Sesame Seeds Balls

+Preeti Garg of simply tadka suggested Til ke Ladoo for this Monty’s Sweet Fantasy Club posts under Indian Sweets category. There is a trend in our family to prepare these ladoos on Makar Sankranti held in the month of January every year . These ladoos were offered to lord Ganesha and then served to all members in the family.

Ingredients:
1 cup white sesame seeds
1 cup powdered sugar /Khand Bura
1cup khoya (milk solids) , grated
1 teaspoon cardamom powder
1/4 cup dried nuts (optional)

Method:
Heat a wok and dry roast the sesame seeds , cool and make a coarse powder in food processor. Set aside.
Roast the grated khoya in a wok and set aside.
In a big bowl add sesame seeds powder , roasted khoya , powdered sugar , cardamom powder and dried nuts. Mix well and make small round balls by pressing in between palms. Make sure the mixture is warm while making balls.

Store in airtight container and serve .

Serve- Around 20 to 25 ladoos. Preparation time -20 minutes
