Sweet Potato Pattice Burger

I am back after taking three days break from blogging . Actually, I was busy in my brother’s ring ceremony function and we enjoyed the ceremony very much . This recipe is from 150 party food recipe, and I tried it today for CCChallenge .The idea of using sweet potato for patty was awesome and guess what nobody can be found out that it was made of sweet potato. So let’s start the recipe . Yum 

Ingredients:
For pattice

2 medium sized Sweet Potato , boiled and peeled
1 onion , chopped
2 green chillies , chopped
1 teaspoon chaat masala
1 teaspoon coriander powder
1/2 teaspoon garam masala
1 teaspoon red chilly powder
Salt o taste
2 tablespoon gram flour/chickpea flour
2-3 tablespoon oil

Other ingredients:
6 burger buns
1 tomato , round slices
1 onion , round slices
5-6 lettuce leaves
6 Amul cheese slices
1/2 teaspoon red chilly powder
1/2 teaspoon pepper powder
Salt to taste

Method:
Take all the ingredients for pattice in a bowl except oil and gram flour.
Dry roast the gram flour in a wok and add it to the sweet potato mixture. Mix well till everything is combined. Make 6-7 pattice from the mixture and shallow fry on a non stick pan using 2-3 tablespoon of oil till golden and crisp from both sides.

Arranging the burger.
Slice burger bun in halves , arrange layers of lettuce leaves , onion , tomatoes on it. Add cheese slice and sweet potato patty . Sprinkle salt , pepper and red chilly. Cover the patty with alternate layers of lettuce , onion and tomatoes. Cover with the other half of bun . Microwave for 1 minute and serve warm with tomato ketchup.
