Mushroom Kebabs | Khumb Kebabs

For the second week of BM#49 my theme is one vegetable in different forms and my veggie for the same is Mushrooms. I made Mushroom Kebabs for the first day .These kebabs were filled with goodness of mushrooms and oats along with Chilli ,coriander and pepper. It was a very healthy , protein and fibre packed breakfast for us and we all loved it with mint chutney.So let’s start the recipe .yum

Blogging Marathon#49 – Week2/Day1

Ingredients:
1/2 cup mushrooms ,chopped
3/4 cup quick cooking rolled oats
3/4 cup low-fat milk
1 cup onion,finely chopped
1 teaspoon black pepper,crushed
salt to taste
1/4 cup coriander leaves
2 green chillies,chopped
1 tablespoon oil

Method:
Heat half a tablespoon oil in a pan, add the onion and green chillies and sauté for a minute.
Add the mushrooms and oats and sauté again for another 2 to 3 minutes.
Now Add the milk, salt and pepper and mix well.Cook till the mixture thickens and leaves the sides of pans.
Remove from the heat and add coriander leaves.
Cool slightly and divide the mixture into 12 equal portions.
Roll out each portion into oval kebabs .
Heat a non stick tava and cook each kebab, using a little oil.

Serve hot with green chutney.

Enjoy!!

Serve -4. Cooking time-25 minutes
