It is an innovative drink and popular street food of Pune Maharashtra. The drink was named after queen Mastani, wife of Peshwa Bajirao. Smooth mango milkshake with the crunch of dry fruits and favor of tutti-fruity along with vanilla ice cream makes it a really amazing treat.

How to make Mango Mastani

In a blender add mango cubes, sugar, milk, and 1/2 cup of vanilla ice cream. Blend until smooth. Now into the serving glass add some tutti frutti. Pour in mango shake.

Top it up with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Garnish with cashew nuts, pistachios, tutti frutti, and glazed cherries. Serve immediately.

Serving Suggestions

Serve the mango mastani as it is and immediately after assembling. You can also serve it as a chilled dessert after meals.

I would advise you to make it only when you are ready to serve. If you really are running out of time what you can do is make ahead of the mango shake and keep it refrigerated. Once ready to eat, assemble it in the serving glasses and enjoy.

Yes, you can make it vegan by using plant-based alternatives like vegan ice cream and dairy-free milk. I have tried making it with coconut ice cream and coconut milk and it turned out absolutely amazing.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 mangoes cubed
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoon sugar or as per taste
