An American merchant in 1904 World's Fair at St. Louis invented iced tea. He was selling hot tea but as it was hot people weren't interested in hot tea, he added ice in it and there iced tea was born.

How to make iced tea?

First of all, be ready with brewing tour tea. If you are planning to enjoy it in the evening let your tea ready in the afternoon so that it can be chilled before using.
Brew the tea in 4 cups of water and let it cool completely.

In a large pitcher adds the brewed and cooled tea, 4 cups of more water(add water depending on how much strong flavors of tea you’d want), mint leaves, lemon juice, passion fruit pulp, and seed and sugar. Mix well and pour in serving glasses. Add ice cubes as desired. Serve and enjoy.

Can it be stored?

Yes, you could store the iced tea but make sure to keep refrigerated and use within 1-2 days. I would suggest making it fresh as it will taste better than the stored ones.

Can we use honey?

Why not? Use your choice of sweetener in the tea. You could use maple syrup, agave nectar, or any of your favorite sugar.

Variations

You could make the iced tea with any of your favorite summer fruits like mango, strawberry, or pineapple. Feel free to replace passion fruit with your choice of fruits.
