Figs

Figs are the edible fruit produced in the late summers or autumn season on a small tree from the species of the Mulberry family. Now figs can be eaten fresh raw, dried, or in the form of preserves, jams, and other dessert recipes.

Figs are sweet in taste with a chewy and crunchy texture due to the presence of tiny seeds in the pulp.

Besides being a High source of dietary fiber, loaded with prebiotics, figs also contain calcium and potassium. When consumed in the right amounts figs can help reduce blood pressure, improve digestion, and increase bone density.
