Yoghurt Honey Muffins

Yougurt honey muffins are a perfect breakfast muffins and healthy too.All the ingredients used in the yoghurt honey muffins makes them full of nutrients and filling as well.

A healthy way to start a day with these delicious and nutritious healthy muffins. Doesn’t it sounds great ?These muffins are packed with energy , protein and minerals . So don’t look at the pics only , grab your ingredients and make some. This was my entry for alphabet “Y” under Baked Theme in the ABC cooking series of BM#32.

Ingredients:
1 1/2 cup Whole Wheat Pastry Flour
2 tablespoon Rolled Oats
1 tablespoon dates, pitted and chopped
1 tablespoon char magaz/Melon seeds
tablespoon walnuts , chopped
1 teaspoon Baking Powder
1 teaspoon Baking Soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
4 teaspoon Powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup honey
1/2 cup yogurt , beaten
1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup full cream milk +1/4 cup water

Method:
Preheat oven to 180 degree and grease muffin pan.
In a large bowl sift together flour , baking powder , baking soda , salt and sugar. Add oats , chopped dates , chopped walnuts , char magaz and mix well.

In another bowl beat together yoghurt , honey and butter . Add milk + water and vanilla , mix well.
Add this yoghurt mixture in to the flour half at s time and gently fold in .

Pour into the prepared pan , tap from bottom and bake at 180 degree for 30-35 minutes or till a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Cool on wire rack , and serve warm.

Serve-8 muffins. Baking time -35 minutes
