So let’s start the recipe.yum
Ingredients:
1 cup split pea
1 white onion,chopped
1 green chilly ,chopped
1 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
Cilantro leaves,chopped
salt to taste
pepper to taste
oil for frying
Method:
Wash and soak split pea in enough water for 4-5 hours or overnight.
Make a smooth paste using enough water .
Add chopped onion,cilantro and chilli in split pea paste.Finally add salt ,chilly powder,peppercorn and turmeric powder.
Mix well .Heat oil in a pan.Drop a tablespoon of batter few at a time .Fry from both sides till golden.
Drain on paper towel.Serve hot.
Enjoy!!

Don't they taste just like our Indian Masala Vada? I too made it for BM, we loved it.
