Broccoli Rice /How to make Broccoli Pulav

A very simple yet flavorful rice preparation with Broccoli. Enjoy it in your lunch or dinner and it is a best recipe to incorporate green goodies in your meal. I usually prefer to use leftover rice for this recipe but you can also make it with freshly cooked plain rice as well.So let’s start the recipe .yum

Ingredients:
1 cup broccoli florets,blanched
1/2 cup spring onion , chopped
2 green chilli , chopped
Few curry leaves
1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 teaspoon chana dal/split bengal gram
1 teaspoon urad dal/split black gram
2 dry red chilli#
1 tablespoon sambhar powder
1 teaspoon red chilli powder
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
salt to taste
2 tablespoon oil
4 cup cooked rice

Method:
Heat oil in a pan , add mustard and cumin seeds. Stir and add chana dal , urad dal ,curry leaves and dry red chillies.
Cook for a minute and add spring onion and green chillies. Saute for a minute.
Add sambhar powder , red chilli , turmeric powder and salt. Mix well.
Add broccoli florets , saute for fwe minutes.
Pour this preparation on cooked rice, mix well and cook for another 2-3 minutes.

Serve hot.

Serve-3 Cooking time-20 minutes
