Corn on the Cob


Who doesn’t like freshly roasted corn on the cob, I bet most of the people loved it. I like the corn roasted over steaming hot coal back in our country and was missing it badly. So I tried to make the corn on the cob in oven .It was not like the one we used to relish but still very tasty , juicy and sweet.So let’s start the recipe.yum

Ingredients:
3 corn on the cob
1 tablespoon butter , melted
1 teaspoon red chilly powder
1 teaspoon crushed peppercorn
Salt to taste
Lemon juice as required

Method:
Preheat oven to 200 degrees .
Wash and pat dry the corn on the cobs.
Take a rectangular piece of aluminium foil. Brush it with butter on one side.
Sprinkle some salt , pepper and red chilly powder and lemon juice.
Place the corn on the cob in the center and wrap it in aluminium foil.
Repeat the same with remaining corn on the cobs.Arrange the corn in a baking tray and bake for 20 to 25 minutes.

Remove from oven , unwrap and serve warm. Drizzle some more butter if desired.
