Banana Sheera | Banana Suzi Halwa

Banana sheera is a tasty and flavorful banana and semolina dessert which is cooked in Ghee and milk with a hint of cardamom and nuts. A unique sheera that tastes really nice and is perfect to try on festivals or to serve guests.

To make Banana Sheera, the only thing different from regular semolina halwa is the use of milk and nutmeg. Banana Halwa is almost similar to the suzi halwa but tastewise banana really leaves a unique taste in the dish. Suzi Banana sheera is also a famous dish made for Vinayaka Chaturthi as bhog and later on distributed among people as prasad.

This is the first time tried banana sheera and frankly speaking, you will definitely love this dessert if you like the bananas. But if you hate banana like my elder one, I don’t think you would try it.  Actually, it has got this unique aroma and texture which makes it more interesting.
