Strawberry Chia Banana Smoothie
I love strawberries , their flavor , aroma , fragrance , color , taste , texture and everything .Besides having plenty of Vitamin C , strawberries are rich in Mangenese , and has anti-inflammatory and antioxidants properties .
While making this smoothie , I also added some chia seeds in it. These tiny seeds are high source of Vitamin K ,Vitamin E , B6 and Zinc. The final reslut was a healthy and tasty combination of fruits and milk .

Ingredients Needed for Strawberry Banana Chia Smoothie
- Strawberry: Fresh or frozen strawberries are perfect to make this smoothie. If using frozen strawberries then skip adding ice cubes.
- Banana: Medium-sized banana. You can add bananas per your desired thickness in the smoothie. The more banana you will add the less pink the color of the smoothie will be.
- Chia seeds: Washed and soaked in water. After 2 hours of resting the chia seeds will be doubled in size with a sticky coating on the seeds.
- Milk: Whole milk or if you prefer a vegan smoothie then you can use any plant-based dairy-free milk to make this smoothie.
- Honey: As per your sweetness taste. You can also add sugar or agave nectar instead.
- Ice cubes: Optional
How to make Strawbery Banana Chia Smoothie
Soak chia seeds in 1/2 cup water and set them aside for 2 hours. Once the chia seeds are doubled in size add all the ingredients to the blender and blend until smooth.
Serve chilled and enjoy a healthy wholesome breakfast.
Pro Tip:
Blend your smoothie with unsweetened almond milk or Greek yogurt for an extra protein boost and creamier texture.
Serving Suggestions
Serve this delicious smoothie with besan chilla, rava upma, uttapam, or bread toast. You can also pair it with your breakfast oatmeal or any of your favorite breakfast dishes.
I personally like pairing my smoothie with rava veg upma and sometimes with paniyaram.

- 8-10 strawberries
- 2 bananas cut in pieces
- ¼ cup ice cubes optional
- 1 ½ cups milk
- honey to taste
- 2 tablespoon chia seeds
Instructions
- Soak chia seeds in 1/2 cup water and let it aside for 2 hours.
- Put everything in a blender and blend until smooth.
- Serve chilled.
