What could be better than these easy peasy popsicles to enjoy on the 4th of July? If you are looking for last-minute recipes than do give these popsicles a try.

When I was making the popsicle, after the first layer of bluberries i didnt wait enough to set it and added the plain evaporated milk layer and the last starwberry layer too. So it all got mixed up and the results weren;t as pretty as I had imagined.

So while making the layers in any pattern, make sure to wait for the first layer to set properly before adding the next.

Ingredients Needed to make Popsicle

  • First, Strawberries– Fresh strawberries will taste amazing in the popsicles. However, you could also use frozen strawberries too.
  • Blueberries-Like strawberries, you could also use fresh or frozen blueberries.
  • Evaporated Milk-I used evaporated milk to make the popsicles but it can be easily replaced with greek yogurt.

How to make 4th July Popsicles?

To make the popsicle all you need to do is blend the berries with evaporated milk separetly. Then arrange the layers one by one as youd’ like. Pop in freezer for qbout 4-6 hours or overnight.

Run the molds under running water and remove the popsicle, enjoy.

What can be used instead of evaporated milk?

You could always use greek yogurt, whipped cream or regular milk instead of evaporated milk. I haven’t used any sugar in the recipe as I wanted to make them sugar-free but you can add sugar as per your taste.

Can it be made Vegan?

Yes of course, replace the evaporated milk with coconut milk or coconut cream. Or simply use any plant based milk , cream or yogurt.

Serving and Variations

Serve the popsicles as a snack or after meal dessert. For variations, you could add some chopped berries, chocolate chips, and or dried fruits and nuts as well.
