A healthy, sweet and very delicious Middle Eastern-inspired sweet couscous with apple, cinnamon and chia seeds.
Couscous is one of the popular ingredients in the middle eastern cuisine and is used in many recipes. I have had tried couscous in few savory recipes before but have never tried the sweet version.
If you remember my Hummus with Chia Seeds post you’d know that I was sent Chiabia’s range of healthy chia products. This chia apple cinnamon was one of the products that I received along with all. It is basically a ground mixture of chia seeds, dried apple, and cinnamon. I used this chia apple and cinnamon in the couscous and boy oh boy needless to mention the health benefits it tasted so amazing.
This sweet couscous has all the healthy ingredients, the natural sweetness from Medjool dates, and the goodness of the raisins and nuts. The best part is that this sweet treat is VEGAN.
