A healthy creamy and tasty strawberry labneh with rose cardamom and strawberry flavours is a perfect and guilt-free dessert to enjoy with or after the meal.
I can’t believe this is the last week of Protein rich dishes and seriously it looks like just a few days before we started the month-long marathon. Time surely flies like a bird.
So after posting breakfast, snacks and main course this week I shall post desserts recipes. As you all know that from past few months we are avoiding sugar so this strawberry labneh doesn’ t have any sugar in it but frankly speaking you won’t miss it. The strawberries I used in the recipe were super sweet and of course, there is natural sweetness from labneh.
The recipe is adapted from BBCGoodFood Magazine the original recipe used honey to sweeten the labneh. So if you guys want then go ahead and used sugar or honey in the labneh to make this dessert a real sweet treat.
For us, it was a bliss without sugar too. I made this dessert this weekend while we were fasting and the flavours from strawberry, rose and cardamom made it a heavenly treat.
So here is a glimpse of last weeks protein-rich dishes and stay tuned for checking this week’s desserts dishes.
