Raw Mango Chutney

A spicy , tangy and of course healthy chutney made from fresh raw mangoes , is a popular dip of North as well as South India. My mum used to make it with onions to balance the sourness of raw mangoes. I always follow her to make it. Raw mango has abundant of Vitamin C and must be included in diet in summers.It’s super easy and tasty chutney to try at home and can be stored for one week because of long shelf life. So let’s start the recipe.yum

Raw Mango Chutney







Ingredients

1 green raw mango
1 red onion
4-5 green chillies
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
Salt to taste

Method:
Wash and peel mango , remove seed and chop in big chunks.
Grind all ingredients together in grinder using a required amount of water.

Store in refrigerator . Serve chilled with main course.

You must try Ginger Chutney and Coconut Chutney.

Serve-4. Prep times-10 minutes

Note: It can be used for one week if stored in fridge.
You can add red chillies instead of green ones.
For a twist you may add mustard seeds and curry leaves tempering.
