Rava Dosa

Dosa or crepes are the favorite breakfast dish in South India and can be prepared in many ways . Today I learned to make this quick and easy dosa from Vah re Vah and tried it . The Dosas are perfectly made and loved by everyone in the family. The main plus point is it is a hassle free and quick as there is no need of any fermentation and grinding of batter, etc. Whenever you have craving for dosa , try this one, and you will definitely enjoy it. So let’s start the recipe . Yum

Ingredients:
1/4 cup All purpose flour
1 cup rava /semolina/soozi
1 cup rice flour
1/4 teaspoon Cumin seeds
1/4 teaspoon Pepper Crushed
1 Onion, chopped
2 green chillies , chopped
1 teaspoon Ginger, grated
Salt to Taste
1 tablespoon oil
Water as required

Method:
In a bowl mix all ingredients except chopped onions . Slowly add water and make thin batter .
Heat a non stick pan and sprinkle few onions over it . Stir the batter vigorously and sprinkle the batter over hot pan by fingers.
Let it cook for 1 minute on low heat. Apply half a teaspoon of oil over it .
Cook till nice and crisp .

Serve hot with tomato chutney or any chutney of your choice.

Serve-6. Cooking time -20 minutes
Note: The batter should not be too thick . It should have be in pouring consistency.
Stir the batter vigorously before each preparation as the semolina will settle in the bottom
