Ingredients:
250 gm okra
5 green chillies
For stuffing
2 tablespoon gram flour
1 /2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1/2 teaspoon red chilly powder
1/2 teaspoon garam masala
1/2 teaspoon fennel seeds
1/2 teaspoon dried mango powder
1/2 teaspoon Anardana powder
Salt to taste
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
For tempering
1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
1/2 teaspoon fennel seeds
1/2 teaspoon nigella seeds
2 chopped green chilly
2 tablespoon vegetable oil
Method:
Wash and dry okra with kitchen towel.
Take all ingredients for stuffing in a bowl , stir continuously to avoid lumps.
Cut the heads of okra and make a slit in the center lengthwise up to tail.
Fill the stuffing made above in okra and green chilly.
Heat oil in a wok, add cumin , nigella and fennel seeds
Add chopped green chillies and stuffed okra.Let it cook for 10 minutes on simmer
Stir and cook on high heat or 2 minute.Remove from heat.
Serve-4. Cooking time-20 minutes
Notes: If any stuffing left , just sprinkle it over stuffed okra in the wok.
If stuffing finished with 2-3 okra left , just cut them in the wok.
