MW Devil’s Food Cake in Bowls

Microwave Devil’s food cupcakes: What can be better than to enjoy yummy and delicious Devil’s food cupcake in less than 10 minutes in your favourite bowls.I bet nothing could be more comfortable than this.We all do have all of a sudden chocolate cake cravings and to the rescue comes the MW cakes.

This week’s BM theme was to pick one appliance and cook three dishes. I picked Microwave and planned to post three MW based desserts. While looking for some MW based desserts I found this wonderful cupcakes at Betty Crocker’s website.The website has a lot of easy peasy and mouth watering Microwave based dessert recipes.

Ingredients:
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
3 tablespoon granulated sugar
3 tablespoon brown sugar
1/4 cup olive oil
1/4 cup milk
1/2 cup buttermilk
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Icing sugar for dusting

Method:
In a mixing bowl add sifted all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking powder and baking soda.Stir to combine.
Now add oil, milk, buttermilk and vanilla extract.Mix well until combined.
Transfer the batter into two microwave safe bowls or mugs.
Microwave the cake bowls for 3 minutes in the microwave for high or until the cake edges set firmly.
Remove from MW and dust with icing sugar.

Serve and enjoy!!
