The cake was finished all at once and was praised by everyone at home.This is a keeper recipe to make an egg less marble cake.This cake is for the last week of May Month’s CCChallenge.
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cup plain flour
4 tablespoon cocoa powder
1 can sweetened condensed milk
2 tablespoon milk
1/2 cup canola oil
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
a pinch of salt
Method:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and prepare an 8″ loaf pan with butter and parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl whisk together oil and condensed milk.Add vanilla extract and c=mix again.
In another bowl sift together flour,baking powder,baking soda and salt.
Make a hole in the centre of sifted flour and add the condensed milk-oil mixture.Fold in gently to combine.
Transfer half of the batter into another bowl and add sifted cocoa powder in it.
Add 2 tablespoon of milk in the cocoa powder batter.
Pour vanilla batter into the prepared pan few tablespoon at a time.
Pour in chocolate batter and repeat alternate layers of chocolate and vanilla batter.
With a toothpick gently make swirls in the batter.
Bake the cake in preheated oven for 30 to 40 minutes or until a skewer inserted in the oven comes out clean.
Remove the cake from pan.Cool, and cut into slices.
Serve and enjoy.
