This recipe was lying in my drafts since ages . Today I am posting the recipe to make home -made Rasam powder. When I had made Tomato Rasam , I used this rasam powder and the taste of Rasam was appetizing and delicious. So let’s start the recipe . Yum
Ingredients:
2 tablespoon Pepper
10-15 Dried Red chilly
1 teaspoon Asafetida
1/2 cup dried Curry leaves
2 tablespoon Cumin seeds
1 tablespoon fenugreek seeds
1/4 cup Toor dal
1/4 cup Chana Dal/Urad dal
4 tablespoon Coriander seeds
1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
Method:
Roast all the dry ingredients except turmeric powder in a pan on low heat till a little brown .
Cool all the ingredients and make a fine powder in food processor adding turmeric powder.
Store in air tight container and use whenever required.
Serve- 6. Preparation time -10 minutes
