Falaari aloo tikki is a very tasty and gluten-free potato tikki made with buckwheat flour, potatoes and mild spices. These tikkis are just perfect to enjoy as the guilt-free and tasty side dish during fasting.
I made this falaari aloo tikki for the Navratri thali that I did during October month on Instagram. I did plan to post all the recipes in the thali but somehow couldn’t post them. However, I do have the pictures in the draft and that’s what came to rescue when I totally forgot to cook for the theme mashed for this week.
If you are looking for a tasty and gluten-free recipe for fasting days or simply a for a delicious evening snack then these falaari aloo tikki are just perfect for you. For more healthy variations you may shallow fry them too.

Fariyali tikkis look delicious , specially with that chutney and dahi . To make them fariyaali I normally do not add any flour and shallow fry , but of course buck wheat flour can be consumed .
This is yet another nice twist to the theme Sapana, good snack!
Love tikkis and like this version too. Would definitely love to try it.
Tikkis look amazing Sapana. I could eat these for breakfast, lunch, snack or dinner.
