Cranberry Apple Chutney

Cranberry Apple Chutney: Mildly sweet and spiced cranberry apple chutney makes anything tastes more delicious. Last month, I bought few packages of fresh cranberries as I were seeing the shopping centre full of them. My girls were eating them as it is but I find it very difficult to try eating them as they were too tart. That’s when I started looking for recipes with fresh cranberries and found this chutney on Taste of Home website.

I made one batch of the chutney using one package and the whole family went crazy for it. They love eating it with roti, bread and even chips. Since then I made three more batches of the chutney. I am going to freeze some of the fresh cranberries to try the later in the year. This is such a keeper recipe and tastes so amazing. If you have fresh cranberries on hand then do try it. The original recipe suggests to use brown sugar but I used white sugar only.
