Cabbage pulav

Cabbage is incredibly nutritious and full of antioxidants.I love cabbage and made different dishes from it.Some of those are cabbage pulav,cabbage fritters,cabbage stir fry,cabbage toast,cabbage salad and many more.Today I am sharing one of cabbage recipe from the list.Cabbage pulav or you may say cabbage rice …so let’s start with recipe .yum





Ingredients:
Cabbage(chopped )-2cup
Peas-1 cup
Rice-2 cup
Onion(chopped)-1
Tomato(chopped)-2
Green chilly(chopped)-2tsp
Ginger(grated)-1tsp
Cinnamon stick-1
Asafetida-1/2tsp
Cumin seeds-2 tsp
Turmeric powder-1 tsp
Paprika-1 tsp
Salt to taste
Garam masala-1 tsp
Olive oil-2 tbsp


Method:
Heat oil in a pressure cooker,add asafetida,cinnamon stick and cumin seeds.Wait for popping and add ginger and onions.
Fry onions till golden color appears and add all spices and salt, peas,tomatoes and green chilly
Saute for 2 minutes and add cabbage in last ,close lid and cook for 1 whistle.(Cook till rice are tender and water evaporates if you are using open pan).
Serve hot with pickle,chutney or curd.
                 Serve-2.     Cooking time-15 minutes
