Avocado Sandwich

Avocado or sometimes called as alligator pear is considered as a super fruit.It has all the healthy fats,proteins ,vitamins ,minerals and dietary fiber.After learning about its health benefits I now try to include this super fruit in our diet.I have even started giving it as baby food to my little girl.

So one of the dish I made few days back with avocado is this healthy and colorful sandwiches for my elder daughter.First she resisted to eat them but once she took one bite she loved it to the core.

So let’s start the recipe.yum

Theme -Kids Delight Colorful Dishes


Ingredients
:
6 sandwich bread
1 avocado,sliced
1/2 red bell pepper,sliced
1/2 yellow bell pepper,sliced
1/2 green bell pepper,sliced
1/2 red onion,thinly sliced
3 cheese slices
Peppercorn Freshly crushed
Salt to taste
1 teaspoon butter

Method:
Take a sandwich bread and top it up with cheese slice.
Arrange layers of avocado, bell peppers abd oniin over it.
Sprinkle some salt and peppercorn powder.
Top it up with another slice.
Heat a pan ir griddle and slightly toast the sandwich from both sides till crusty golden using little butter.

Cut in desired shapes and serve with tea, coffee or juice.

Serve-3 Cooking time-10 minutes
