Ingredients:
3/4 cup rava/soozi/semolina
1/4 cup peas
1 onion , chopped
2 green chilly , chopped
1 tomato ,chopped
Few curry leaves
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 teaspoon mustard seeds
1 teaspoon urad dal
1 teaspoon chana dal
1 tablespoon cashew nuts
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1/2 teaspoon red chilly powder
1 teaspoon coriander powder
Salt to taste
2 tablespoon clarified butter
Water as required
Method:
Heat a pan and dry roast the rava for few minutes , no need to roast till its color change.
Heat oil in another pan , add cumin seeds , mustard seeds , urad dal , chana dal and curry leaves.
Stir and add onions , green chilli and cashew nuts . Cook till onion browns.
Now add tomatoes along with all the spices powder along with salt. Mix well.
Cook till tomatoes are tender , add peas , stir and add 3 cups of water. Let the water boil . Add roasted rava in it and cook for few minutes.
Remove from heat and serve hot .
