Veg Penne Pasta ~Indian Style

Pasta is everyone’s favorite and easy to prepare .From some time I wanted to try Pasta with white or red sauce but couldn’t able to make it. Every time I made pasta my daughter asked to prepare Indian style with veggies and spices. Hopefully next time I will make red sauce pasta . Till then enjoy this desi version of pasta . So let’s start the recipe .yum

Ingredients:
150 gm Penne pasta
1 onion ,chopped
1 spring onion , white and green part chopped separately

Veggies
1/4 cup red bell pepper, chopped
1/4 cup yellow bell pepper ,chopped
1/4 cup carrots , chopped
1/4 cup celery , chopped
1 tomato ,chopped

1 teaspoon coriander powder
1 teaspoon garam masala
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon red chilli powder
Salt to taste
1 teaspoon freshly ground peppercorn
Water as required
4 tablespoon oil

To garnish
Spring onion greens, chopped

Method:
Boil water with a pinch of oil and a teaspoon of salt in a vessel. Cook the pasta in it till con.
Strain the boiled pasta in colander, wash under running water and apply a teaspoon of oil over it.
Heat oil in a pan ,add spring onion white and chopped onion, stir and add all chopped vegetables , spring onion greens .Cook for 5-6 minutes.
Now add cooked pasta and all the spices and salt except peppercorn.
Mix and cook till evenly combined.Now add freshly ground peppercorn . Mix and transfer in serving bowl .

Garnish with chopped spring onion greens and serve hot.

Serve-2. Cooking time -20 minutes
Note:
You may use any vegetables of your choice.Use pasta of your choice and enjoy .
Don’t overcook the pasta or it will get spoiled.
