Today I am opting for a healthy recipe and prepared a sweet and sour salad.It is too delicate and nutritious . I used almost all vegetables from fridge. By good fortune if a bit of salad had left then you can grab it as late night sandwich.So let’s start with recipe.yum
Ingredients:
Carrot-1
Cucumber-1
Green capsicum(thinly sliced)-1
Red onion(thinly sliced)-1
Lettuce(salad leaves)-5 to 6
Tomato(thinly sliced in rounds)-1
For dressing
Honey-1/2 cup
White vinegar-2 tbsp
Lemon juice-2 tbsp
Salt to taste
Crushed black pepper-1 tsp
Method:
Using a vegetable peeler,peel carrots,cucumber lengthwise into very thin strips.
In a bowl mix all ingredients for dressing and keep aside.
In a large bowl combine all vegetables.Pour dressing over vegetables,toss and let it chill in refrigerator.
Serve chilled .
