Paneer Flakes

Toady I prepared these crispy Paneer Flakes in the evening snacks . The paneer cubes are marinated in crispy corn flakes and yoghurt masala and then shallow fried . It can also be served as appetizer or as starter snack . And definitely it could be perfect for parties as finger food . I have adapted the recipe from a cook book and thought it to be a good entry for the first week of January’s CCChallenge . So let’s start the recipe . Yum

Ingredients:
200 gm Paneer , cut in cubes
1 cup corn flakes
4 tablespoon yoghurt , beaten
1 teaspoon red chilly flakes
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon chaat masala
1 tablespoon olive oil
Salt to taste
Water as requires
2-3 tablespoon cooking oil

Method:
Make a powder of the corn flakes and palace in a bowl . Add yoghurt , lemon juice , salt , chilly flakes , olive oil and chaat masala. Mix well and add some water to make a smooth paste.
Nw add the paneer cubes in it and eat it rest for 30 minutes.
After 30 minutes , heat a non stick pan or griddle . Smear cooking oil over it and roast the paneer pieces for 10-15 minutes till golden and crisp from both sides.

Remove from pan , sprinkle some chaat masala and serve hot with ketchup.

Enjoy!!

Serve-4. Cooking time -15 minutes

Note: You may deep fry the paneer pieces also.
