This French bread was lying in my fridge since 3-4 days and I was thinking what to do with it. Finally I tried to make Bruschetta with mushroom and capsicum and gave a twist to the classic one. It tasted awesome and was a wonderful evening snack . So let’s start the recipe . Yum
Ingredients:
1 medium sized baguette , cut into slices
2 green capsicum , sliced
200 gm Mushroom , sliced
1 onion , sliced
2 green chillies , chopped
1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
1/4 teaspoon pepper corn powder
1/4 teaspoon basil leaves
1/4 teaspoon oregano
Salt to taste
4 teaspoon olive oil
2-3 garlic cloves
1/4 cup cheese spread
Few coriander leaves , chopped
Method:
Cut the baguettes bread in slices , rub olive oil and crushed garlic over the top.
Heat 2 teaspoon olive oil in a pan , add chopped onion and stir . Add salt , turmeric powder ,and peppercorn powder.
Add capsicum and mushroom slices , stir and cook for 2 minutes. Add chopped coriander leaves.
Apply a thin layer of cheese spread , and top it up with sautéed veggies. Sprinkle basil leaves and oregano over it. Bake in preheated oven at180 degree for 15-20 minutes. Serve warm.

Serve -4. Cooking time -30 minutes
