Onions and potatoes stuffed with spices and cooked on low heat to absorb all the flavors.
Ingredients:
4 small onion
4 small potatoes
2 teaspoon garlic paste
1 teaspoon ginger paste
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon chilli powder
1 teaspoon coriander powder
1 teaspoon cumin powder
salt to taste
a pinch aseftida
2 tablespoon oil
Method:
Wash ,peel and cut the potatoes.Cut out a portion from the center.
Make 4 slits in onion lengthwise.
Mix all th dry powder and salt.
Fill the spice powder in potatoes and onions.
Heat oil in a pan and drop out the stuffed onions and potatoes.
Add 1/2 a cup water.Cover and cook till done.
Serve hot with rice and rotli.
Serve-3 Cooking time-30 minutes
