Kadha Prasad-A very rich and delicious wheat flour halwa which is served in Gurudwara and taste just heavenly.
If you happen to visit Gurudwarsyou must be knowing what a kada or kara prasad is. There is so mesmerizing something about when you get the dollop of kadha prasad on your palms.
The melt in mouth kind texture and taste of this kadah prasad is something that can never be replaced with anything at all.
I tried making this kadha prasad at home and it was good but not as good as we get in the Gurudwaras. I mean we did like the taste and texture and enjoyed it too at the same time missed the one we used to get in those long queues.

Truly the Kadha Prasad is divine . Whatever and however hard we try that same taste doesn’t come , it sure is His Drishti that makes it divine .
Adding a teaspoon of besan and using some coarse wheat flour gets you quite near the Gurudwara prasad , I got the tip from Gianiji when they did path at our place .
I can relate very well. What ever they serve in temple has its own unique divine taste which we can’t get in home. But glad you tried it and thanks for the share.

I simply love this Prasad. The one they make here in the Gurudwara is full of ghee and simply melts in the mouth. On special occasions they add lots of nuts. Your picture is tempting me to make some at home.
