Hazelnut Chocolate Spread-A healthy and tasty hazelnut chocolate spread which is just perfect to start your day.
A few months back I had some packets of the whole hazelnut that I needed to use before they could be spoiled. That’s when I found the recipe on Tasty for this super easy and tasty hazelnut butter and I immediately tried it.
This hazelnut butter taste amazing, it has the nutty flavor of the toasted hazelnuts, the chcolaty goodness from raw cacao and a mild sweetness from pure maple syrup.
Since we stopped buying Nutella for few years, this hazelnut spread is now my way of serving my girls their favorite chocolate spread. You just have to make sure to properly roast the hazelnuts to get rid of the raw taste and viola.
Do make this hazelnut chocolate spread for yourself and your kids and you will definitely love it. Smear it on toast, make smoothies or energy bars like this Energy Balls and enjoy the health benefits of hazelnuts in its pure form without preservatives.
