cheese and these sandwiches are filled with spicy and healthy scrambled cottage
cheese .I learned this recipe from Meena’s Homely Food. Be ready to
rejuvenate your taste buds. So let’s start the recipe. Yum
Ingredients:
200 gm Cottage Cheese / paneer
1 tomato , chopped
1 onion , chopped
1/4 inch ginger ,chopped
1 capsicum , cubed
1 green chili , chopped
1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
Spices:
1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
1/2 teaspoon garam masala
1 teaspoon Dry mango powder/amchur powder
salt to taste
1tablespoon Canola oil
coriander leaves to garnish
8 Sandwich Bread slices
1 tablespoon butter
Method:
In a pan, heat oil. Add onions and stir it till it becomes translucent.
Add cumin seeds , ginger and green chili. Sauté for 1 minute.
Stir and add capsicum.
After a minute, add tomatoes. Stir it for two minutes .
Add spices and salt , mix well.
Finally add scrambled paneer and mix well. Cook for 2 minutes and remove from heat. Add coriander leaves and set aside.
Butter the bread on one side and spread paneer mixture on it.
Cover the slice with another buttered side of bread.
Grill the sandwich and serve it hot with chutney or sauce.
Serve-4. Cooking time- 20 minutes
