Doughnut Muffins

Next recipe in the series of make in a muffin is these scrumptious doughnuts in muffin case.They looks like a muffin but tasted like a rich and out bursting cinnamon flavored doughnut.So if you are craving for doughnuts and not in a mood to wait for a little long method then try out this easy way and enjoy the goodness.

Ingredients:
1 cup plain flour
1/4 cup butter, melted
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg powder
1/2 cup milk
1 teaspoon baking powder

For dusting:

2 tablespoon butter, melted
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon powder


Method:

Preheat the oven to 190 degrees and grease a muffin tin.
In a mixing bowl add the melted butter, sugar and nutmeg and stir well until combined. Add the milk and stir again. Sift baking powder and flour and add to the wet mixture.
Fold in until everything is well combined.
Divide the mixture between the 12 muffin holes. Bake in preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden in color.

In a bowl mix sugar and cinnamon powder.
When muffins are still warm dip the tops of the muffins in the melted butter, then coat in the cinnamon sugar.

Serve warm andenjoy!!

Serve-6 Baking time-15 minutes

Notes:
I had 6 case pan so I used two of them .You can use the mini muffin pan also.
Make sure to enjoy them while they are still warm to taste best.
You can store them in air tight container for two days.
