After enjoying the nutritious and healthy detox juice, the second meal of the day was this clear vegetable soup. It has broccoli, carrots, spinach, celery with some spices like turmeric, cayenne pepper, and cinnamon.
All these spices, when combined with fresh vegetables in the soup, make it filling and helps in detoxification of the body by cleansing and removing the toxic substances from the body.
As my sister was doing the detox diet, she stamped the soup hearty and delicious. The important fact is the nutritional value and detoxification qualities.

What a hearty and nutritious bowl of soup
Hi Sapana: My question is that I am not clear how much water to use in the soup. What does 6/2 mean.
Secondly, do you saute the garlic and onion in 1/2 cup water and not in oil. I wasn’t clear about the instructions. Please reply soon as I am really interested in trying this soup. Thanks.
Hi Upasana,
Apologies if instructions were not clear. The amount of water is 6 and a half a cup of water but it depends on how much consistency you like. The soup is without oil so yes I sauteed the onions in water, not oil but if you want you can use a teaspoon of olive oil as well. Hope it is clear now. Thanks
