Microwave Macaroni & Cheese

Microwave Macaroni and Cheese:  Quick and easy macaroni and cheese that is a tasty and filling meal and would be ready  just in minutes. So after posting Aubergine tabbouleh and Tamarind rice for two days here is the last dish under this week’s theme cooking for one. Actually, I did not get time to cook for the last day and this recipe is from my drafts. But seriously this is a perfect recipe for the days when I feel like not so much into cooking.


Blogging Marathon#70 Week 1 / Day 3
Theme– Cooking for One
Dish– Macaroni & Cheese

Ingredients:
1/4 cup macaroni pasta
1 cup water
4 tablespoon milk
2 teaspoon corn starch
4 tablespoon cheddar,shredded
salt to taste
pepper to taste,freshly crushed

scallion greens for topping [optional]
chilly flakes [optional]

Method:
In a microwave, safe bowl adds the macaroni and water. Microwave on high for 4 minutes or until the pasta is cooked.
Drain the excess water. Add milk, cornstarch, and cheese. Stir and MW for 1 minute more.
Remove from microwave. Season with salt and pepper.
Serve garnished with scallion greens and red chilly flakes.


Serve- 1 Cooking time -5 minutes
