Ingredients:
1 cup beetroot , grated from 2 big beets
1/4 cup sugar
1 1/2 cup milk
2 tablespoon clarified butter
1 tablespoon Almonds , sliced
1 tablespoon raisins
1 tablespoon pistachios , sliced
2-3 cardamom pods , crushed
Method:
Heat clarified butter in a heavy bottom vessel , add sliced almonds , pistachio , raisins and cardamom . Fry till golden and remove from butter . Set aside .
Add grated beet root and fried cardamoms in the remaining clarified butter and sauté on low heat till tender and raw smell of beet goes off.
Add milk and let it cook on low heat , frequent stirring is required . Cook till all milk reduced and it form a creamy texture with beets.
Add sugar and cook again till sugar melt as and mixed with it .
Remove from heat , garnish with fried nuts and serve warm or chilled.

Serve-2. Cooking time -35 minutes
Note: You may use sweetened condensed milk instead of sugar . Add nuts as per your choice .
