Bajra Chana Dal Khichdi

A very healthy and tasty Bajra khichdi made with pearl millets and chana dal.  This khichdi tastes amazing with some yoghurt and a dollop of ghee.

So the Bajra khichdi has never been cooked in my kitchen ever before a few months back. When I went to India last Feb I was served a very tasty and healthy bajra khichdi in our flight. At first, I didn’t realise what it was but later on after a lot of thinking guessed it. After coming back home I bought a pack of pearl millets to try the khichdi at home.

Mr Husband kept telling me not to buy as we won’t like it and pearl millet is not edible. But nothing stopped me and I tried my first batch of khichdi for our lunch. He refuses eating it but we girls loved it to the core. Since then I am making it every now and then to have a satisfying and filling meal.
